Arrabal is a new tango-infused dance theater piece, following one woman’s quest to understand the violence that took her father and disrupted the Argentine nation. With a cast and musicians from Buenos Aires, this show brings a tango-club milonga to the stage. Arrabal received the 2018 Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Musical Production and Outstanding Direction (Large Theater).

Emi was the Associate Director to Sergio Trujillo for Arrabal's North American Premiere at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Choreography by Julio Zurrita, music by Gustavo Santaolalla, and book by Tony Award Winner John Weidman.
